The Shadows fue una banda de rock instrumental, originaria de Londres, Inglaterra. Se mantuvo activa desde la década de 1960 hasta la década de 1990.
Entre sus éxitos se encuentran sencillos como: "Move It" (#2 UK, #100 ARIA1​2​) de 1958 o "Let me be the one" (con la que quedaron segundos en el Festival de Eurovisión de Estocolmo de 1975), aunque el mayor éxito de toda su carrera artística fue el tema "Apache".
Se reunieron de nuevo para una gira en 2004. Surgieron como The Drifters, banda de apoyo de Cliff Richard.​
